Primary Beliefs: Five primary beliefs:

1. Humans, like organisms, must use natural resources to survive.

2. The earth and its life are tough and resilient, not fragile and delicate.

3. We can only learn about the world through trial and error.

4. Technology can break through natural limits to make earthly goods and carrying capacity virtually infinite.

5. Man's reworking of the earth is revolutionary, problematic and ultimately benevolent.

Objectives: Get people to realize that we have to use our natural resources to live. We just have to use them wisely and they will be their for our use for years to come.

Motto: "We all live up stream" meaning we are responsible for our actions. (As opposed to, "We all live down stream." suggesting we have no control over what is happening to us.
